Keywiz and www.groovygamegear.com
« on: October 11, 2003, 12:15:04 pm »
Though id try a Keywiz out for my cocktail cabinet project.
Since I live in Sweden I thought id drop them an email checking shipping costs for a keywiz and some buttons, I also wanted to know if they could accept paypal since thats what I normaly use and feel comfortable with, well to make a long story short that was more than a week and a half ago and still no answer.
That makes me very cautious as a buyer, if they cant answer a simple email will they bother to send me my stuff and what if something is missing/broken.

So guys whats your feelings on the issue and the people over at www.groovygamegear.com

No problems here with GrooveyGameGear. My orders were
delivered promptly, and RandyT helped me out a lot when I
first tried the KeyWiz. He usually replied to my emails within
24 hours. I'll be ordering more often from him now that he's
selling those STC500 joysticks on the website.
But then I am in the U.S.

Maybe a spam-killer deleted your email, or maybe he's away.
I'd try emailing him again.

I'll agree with what people have written here.  Randy's a great guy.  If you only shot him just the one email, try again.  Sometimes, ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- happens.  Emails get lost, accidentally deleted, or filtered out depending on the content.

Also try leaving him a PM thru the boards.  He's an active member here, and checks at least once a day.

Yeah, sometimes you think writing "Herbal Viagra Substitute" as the subject of your email will be funny, but it usually never works out.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Yikes!  Guess I should poke my head into this forum more often :)

Thanks for the backup guys, and sorry about missing your question, DAmnb.  I must have accidentally deleted it during one of my daily ritual "50+ piece SPAM nuking fests".

But here are a couple of answers for you:

We do accept Paypal on occasion.  Usually in the case of international orders or when the customer has no other payment option.  This is done on a case by case, as we'd rather use our own processing.

Shipping to Sweden for a 1 lb package is about $10 via Global Priority mail.  This should cover a KeyWiz and about a dozen buttons.  It'll vary a bit depending on the quantity you are looking for.

Try to email me again if you have other questions or PM me here.  I'll keep a lookout for it ;)

Call them and check the price.  That is so outdated it's not funny.
