Logitech Momo wheel question
« on: October 09, 2012, 09:06:22 pm »
I purchased a used Logitech Momo wheel and pedal.  I didn't notice until it arrived that there was no power supply until I received it.  How crucial is it? Can it center without it?  Got home late, won't have time until tomorrow to hook it up.

There are a couple of MOMO branded wheels. Is this the original with the diamond plate pedal base? I have that one and all the centering and resistance is done via the force feedback motor.

There's an older one with a red wheel and a newer one with a black wheel.
I have the newer one with the black wheel.
The pedals and ffb won't work without a power supply.
I can get you the power supply specs if you can't find them online.
(laptop battery is dying and gotta run)

The one I bought is the Logitech Momo Racing Force P/N 863203-1000.  The unit is black but has a red vertical stripe at the 12 o'clock position.  The pedals are black as well.  I am on track to finding the appropriate power supply and will approach the tomorrow.

I had anticipated that the wheel wouldn't work without the power supply.  Hopefully the seller will have realized (now that I pointed it out) they didn't send it in the package and respond.

News!  The seller responded, need to find pics to send so the seller can identify the power supply.  :joy:

FWIW the power supplies for the DFP and DFGT from Logitech are interchangeable with the MOMO I believe.
