1989 Rockola Jukebox
« on: October 07, 2012, 04:28:02 am »
Hello,
Can anyone give me some advise on a Rockola 498 XCD.  Found one for sale very cheap and wondering if I should buy it.  I have a few Rockola's: 454, 488 (2), but not familiar with this 45/cd combo.  Seller says it plays 45's but model research info says it plays both 45's and Cd's.  What's you opinion about this set-up and reliability.  Thanks,  here in So Calif

Hello Calif,

It should have a Pioneer CD player fitted to it similar to the set up for the late 80's Rowe Ami  that had one or two CD players in the cabinet.
The Rock Ola 498XCD was produced in 1989.

Alan
