What is the plastic that people are using on there control panels is it like acrylic or some plexiglass?

Some people like to use the plexi/lexan.
Others have the printers put flexible polycarbonate laminate on their artwork when they print it.

I like the polycarbonate overlays from gameongrafix with nothing over it. perfectly durable
