« on: October 02, 2012, 01:38:53 am »
Building my first cp guys and looking at buying mostly from one company just to keep the shipping to a minimum i guess but if there are things that work better than what i have on list please let me know...and thx !!
Have 2 aimtrak guns added to this too.
Basically is a 4 player panel with led lights just the colors shown ,need to know what boards i need ,i was looking at the LED wiz and  pac LED 64 boards and trying to figure out which is better for what i am trying to do.
I want to be able to have lights on no blinking run the lights to music and any pattern i want with ledblinky if i can. Also i have 12v led single color strands in my speakers i want to connect to this if possible. Any info on the control boards i need to hook all this up would be great..thx again all

each single led uses one port on a lighting controller. something like the ledwiz has 32 ports  and the pac led64 has 64 ports.
If you were using RGB leds, then each rgb would use 3 ports (one for red, one for green and one for blue)
so if you're only lighting the 22 buttons on your cp with single color leds, then thats 22 led ports.

Don't forget, if you plan on using regular leds, you will need resistors in series.

both Ultimarc and Groovy Game Gear have full documentation on their websites
