Blitz 99 multi game
« on: September 21, 2012, 10:09:12 am »
I have a dedicated blitz 99 4 player that I want to put other games on. I would like to put most of the 4 player games such as Simpsons , xmen, tmnt, etc. what all would have to be done to get this done?

Welcome!

EDIT: I wrote a more detailed response of various options and the challenges, but really the only way to do this is to take the Blitz guts out, replace the 49-way joysticks (since I think it may be hard to find 1, let alone 4, 49-way PC interfaces) and drop a MAME box in there.

Just another helpful tidbit to add to what CheffoJeffo said, if it's an acutal blitz cab then it's probably going to be a 24khz monitor.
