Anyone use yellow seimitsu 4-way plates?
« on: September 12, 2012, 11:49:27 am »
I was tinkering around with an LS-56 since it's recommended for shmups.
Decided that I liked it a lot better than my JLFs (which have LS-56 springs in them).
Going to trick it out with quieter switches, octagon gates, & maybe even rotary.
The big omission there would be 4-way.

According to slag-coin, the yellow 4-way plate from other models can be used on it.
(4-way is bottom part of plate that isn't being used in the pic)

It's interesting that the 4-way part of the adapter is open on one side.
That would make it possible to have an automated 4-way setup where the plate slides in from the side instead of rotating.

The restrictor being clover shaped instead of diamond shaped seems like it might feel kinda weird.
Is anyone actually using one of these as a 4-way stick and how it does it compare to other 4-ways?
