I have a spare Data East cab kicking around. I had two of them and used one for my Mame cab.
The cab is completely empty with no monitor and its not great for a fighter style cab because its not super wide. its about 24" wide. its makes for a great vertical cab.
I have the cab, coin door and control panel.

if you click the link in my signature, you can see the cab style. the one I'm not using is the robocop one.

I have a driving cab which can be modded to be a normal cab.  I'll throw in the monitor for free.  I'm in Stamford, but the cab is located in Brewster, NY (10 minutes from Danbury on the NY border).

MGB, if he doesn't take your cab, I might.  I'm looking for a vertical cab for myself with a small panel for 1 joystick and 3 buttons.  What were you asking?

Well im pretty much a noob with this stuff..im looking for something that would able to handle two sticks for mostly fighting games. You think this thing could be modded to fit the tankstick setup? And do you know the overall width of the cab?

When I first got it, I had intended to cut a 90 degree angle so that I could simply place a control panel on it (such as an X-Arcade).  So the width of the cabinet didn't really matter, since the control panel would go past it.  It's pretty simple to do.

Here's the 90 degree angle I was going to mimic with the PP cab:

Here's the same arcade with the control panel mounted (yours would be a smaller 2 player version:

I have the marquee glass, so you can insert your own.  However, you are better of just measuring the glass and getting your marquee through www.gameongrafix.com (ultimate with 2 sheets of plexi option).  Then you simply sandwich your marquee in the 2 sheets of plexi and mount it in (discarding the original glass).

It's not rotted, but in some places there is damage to the edges.  I started using bondo to fix them (works great and better IMHO than wood filler) but then I stopped working on it due to having no time.

Here's a before and after of another arcade I worked on.  It had holes everywhere.  I used bondo to cover them up, sanded them and painted the cabinet.  (I built a new control panel for it)

With some modding what do you think the odds are of me getting a X gaming Tank stick mounted on it? I know some quite crafty woodworkers and also where are you located?

Its possible to modify for installing a tank stick. it sounds though like Delusionals cab may be a better bet because it may be wider (better for fighters) and its got a monitor.

I have a driving cab which can be modded to be a normal cab.  I'll throw in the monitor for free.  I'm in Stamford, but the cab is located in Brewster, NY (10 minutes from Danbury on the NY border).

Sounds like you boys have figured something out. All I know is im on a budget, looking for a cab that will be good for fighting games along with the classics, have zero actual experience on this but desperately seek a mame machine for my spare bedroom/man cave in my apartment. I have a dad who is quite skilled with woodworking and a best friend who is a graphic designer for any stickers or marquee designs. I work at a software company and they constantly throw away slightly used pcs that are out of warranty that might be a good Mame pc. I wouldn't be able to pick anything up until this weekend or next weekend. Lets figure this out..I also live in the New Haven Area Delusional
