Car Speakers/ subs in my cab?
« on: October 09, 2003, 10:29:40 am »
Hey guys, most of you know that I am makin a cab right now out of a sit down Jap cab. I was wondering if I could like convert stereo/ car speakers and subs to work on like a PC connection. Like how would I convert the black and the red wire comming out or the speaker to be able to get frequency from a PC speaker port? I think I have seen one other person do this. Thanx.

-See Ya!!!

Try searching this site for this info...
Here's a search that gives decent results:

-Go here f/ an advanced search
-type in car speakers
-Change the pull-down option to "Match as phrase"
-Change the "Days" (near the end) to 180
-Click search!

Just click on & read through those threads & you should have the answers you're looking for!

But feel free to ask any questions that you can't find answers for!

I'm feeling generous...
Basic set-up:
Extra PC power supply (not the same one powering your PC!!!)
Car Sterio Amp
All the speakers your amp can push
Some sort of volume knob f/ easy volume control (probably a radio shack pot & knob)

Now go read those threads & start planning your own set-up!
I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...
Yes I am...
