IPAC issue
« on: August 30, 2012, 08:41:27 pm »
I'm emailing with Andy (who is great) but I figured I'd post here and see if anyone can help.

I have my arcade setup, it's working great but I've got a couple of issues:

1. The player 2 joystick is assigned to the 'R' key. Unfortunately it's not working. When I press 'R' with the keyboard it works fine but not with the joystick. The wiring seems to be fine.

2. The shift functionality isn't working. (This isn't a big deal and I can live without it but I figured I'd bring it up in case it may be related to issue 1.)

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em. I can't wait to get some SF games going...

Just an update here... Turns out it was a wiring issue. My ground wire was touching the switch and giving me problems. No issue with the Ipac. As usual Andy was great in helping me out.

Finally... the machine is ready to go. Awesome.
