act-lab guns need some love
« on: August 10, 2012, 08:43:59 pm »
hey guys,

after a few hit and misses and trying a few different tv's, i think i found my perfect monitor (NEC PS-2740) and it should arrive sometime next week.

with the current hd tv that i just put in my machine, i started playing around with my act-lab guns that have sat for a while unused as they wouldn't work with an interlaced resolution.

first thing i noticed is that the triggers seem to stick.  if i pull the trigger from the very top, it works ok.  if i pull the trigger from midway down, they seem to jam.

anyone have any experience fixing these triggers?  i opened them up and everything seems to be fine.  i'm thinking of putting some axel type long lasting grease on there but figured i'd ask first.

thanks
