MalaFE turning XP wav volume down

I looked all over to fix this but to no avail.

Every time I start MalaFE, my wav volume slider gets set to half full (or half empty if your that kind of person).

This is really annoying. I have to manually go into Mala sound config every time I want to return the volume to normal. Then when I restart the arcade it goes back to half volume.

Any help is much appreciated.

Longshot, but I had some weird other issue where settings weren't being saved and it was that MALA was shutting the computer down instead of me shutting it down myself.  Exited MALA and shut down.  The settings stayed.  I can't even remember what the issue was now.

I have tried all kinds of things. Shut it down properly too, through the menu. The only way I was able to almost fix this was to set the joystick up down to turn the MALA volume up in the background which turns the WAV slider up on the sound controls too.......crappy way to do this.

I had a similar problem - upgrading to v1.745 (beta) fixed it for me.
