SOLD : Arcade Bazooka
« on: October 05, 2003, 08:25:41 pm »
Greetings All,

I picked this up today at a yard sale thinking somebody on the board might be able to use it. I don't know if it's worth anything to anybody, but it's cool nonetheless.

All the buttons are there except for the trigger, but it looks like it could easily be replaced. The wires all seem in tact, and it does have a little bit of rust on the handle, but nothing that can't be sanded and repainted.

If anybody's interested, just let me know.

Thanks,

Michael

Yes, that is the very game it was a part of. This guy told me it had been in his shed for a while, and he never really knew what to do with it. He gave me some story about the wife making him put it up at the sale just to get rid of it.

I too have no use for it, but I figured there might be someone, somewhere who doesn't have access to arcade items, or pretty much just someone looking for one to do something with.

I know it's rather bulky and might be a few bucks to ship, but if somebody can make good use of it, I'd hate see it go to waste. I'm not very gifted in the electronics dept. or I might see if I could make it into a light gun or something Cab & MAME related.

It is a positional gun, not a light gun. It should have either one or two pots inside. Easy to hook up using the guts to a cheapo analog gameport joystick.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Hm.. never was a big fan of the Super Scope, and this is like that x10 ::)

I've already all but scrapped the idea of using even T2 guns, and this thing is even more odd and bulky.. doesn't even look real :(

Oh, well.  Props for trying.  Somebody will probably buy it on eBay..
