I cannot seem to get my trackball working inside of Mame.  It works to move the mouse pointer outside of MAME but nothing inside.  I have multimouse set to 1 inside of the mame config, and I looked into the settings in mame but couldnt see anything that needed changing.  Anyone know what I might be able to do to get it working?

Tab -> Input (General) -> Player 1 Controls (P2, P3, P4 as needed) -> Set Track inputs  ???

No trackball here, so this is an assumption...

I was sitting in that area a little earlier, but the issue is that it already says mouse1 and joystick.  On Track2 it refers to mouse2 axises.  So, it seems like it should work.  Unless I need to designate the trackball as Mouse 1 or two somewhere in windows, not sure.

Did you set the input? Or just check to see what it said? Highlight the input and hit enter, then spin your track ball (x or y axis accordingly). Also, make sure the game specific inputs are the same as your general inputs (in case they were changed at some earlier point in time).

Check your mame.ini file to ensure your mouse is enabled.  Should read "mouse 1" under the input options.  Also try setting multimouse to 0 instead of 1

Was looking at your project thread, in the last pic it looks like you have a wired keyboard and mouse hooked up to your machine. I think this might be a mouse id issue... Does your wired mouse do anything control wise with the games in question?

The mouse was turned off in the mame.ini.  That did the trick!  Thanks!
