Individual ini files VS mame.ini
« on: June 29, 2012, 06:12:05 pm »
Hi guys

How to I configure individual games in the mame.ini file, i.e. instead of having to create a seperate ini file per game, can't I set in in the mame.ini file instead?

I want to set the following command in 1942kai:
switchres 1
instead of putting this command in 1942kai.ini, how can I incorporate this into mame.ini?

Any help please =)

You put the same "switchres 1" line in mame.ini, but it will apply to ALL games.  If you only want the setting specific to 1942kai, you would only put it in 1942kai.ini.
