converting mamewah layouts to mala?

hey guys,

moving over to mala so i can use control choose plugin.  this is going to take forever, setting all emu's up...

so, i started mala up, did the mame set up, launched mala and am able to start a mame game just fine.  i want to use the same layouts and pictures that i did with wah tho.  i used the convertor, picked my mame.lay, converted to a male layout and saved it to /mala/layouts/mame

i then copied over all of the art files from my wah folder to the mala mame folder, outlined above.

when i start mala, my game list and windows (for snap, video, marquee, control panel) are all in the right place and the images come up, perfect!  the only thing that is missing is my background template image that i was using in wah.

can any mala pros out there help a brother out, get me up and running with this one emu?  from there i'll be able to figure out all the other emu's
