FS: Soul Calibur 2 System 246/Jamma (Montana)
« on: June 19, 2012, 06:30:22 pm »
Just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested.  I converted a Soul Calibur 2 showcase cab into a mame cabinet and am now selling some of the innards.

The game worked before I took it all apart.  The only exception is there is a black transparent bar that scrolls from the bottom to top and loops when it fires up.  I don't know if that was my monitor or the system itself as I have switched out the monitor for a LCD.  However, I did not get the scrolling part when I hooked up the computer to the old monitor so I am assuming its the system itself.  Possibly someone with more knowledge than myself can fix it and have it working new.  Besides the scrolling bar, everything else worked great.  I played it for about a month until I decided to start the mame process.  The guy said there may be something wrong with the dvd drive so he gave me another but I never had troubles with the one in there.  This machine was from a Tilt arcade which I bought during their year end fire sale.

What I am selling is the magic gate with the game system in it.  Namco 246 board.  Various wires with jamma harness.  Two Soul Calibur 2 disks.  The marquee.  Manual and tourny brackets. The basic directions strip that goes over the control panel. And I can try but no promises as it is glued to the control panel, the moves list strip.  I will have to be very careful and try to remove it with a razor blade but it may get ruined in the process.  Here are some pictures:

I think I want to keep the control panel so this is the strip I will have to carefully remove:

Video of scrolling black bar and Intro screen that I took awhile ago:

I will consider any serious offers so throw one out.  If you have any questions on this or are wondering about the items, please let me know and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for looking!!

Saw your post on KLOV....really considering it, but the shipping to Vancouver killed that thought.

Good luck!

KLOV?  While a member there, I did not post this on KLOV.  Perhaps I should haha, thanks for the idea!  However, this is just the game system and not the whole cabinet!

Thanks for looking!!

Is this not your post?

Seems rather coincidental...

*edit: my apologies, it looks very similar.

Are you just looking for cash? Or any trades?

Close but not me.  My cp is bigger and still has that move list stuck on it.  I am also in Montana where that person is from Ohio.  I am looking for cash unless someone has a dedicated Ms. pacman machine, jukebox, bartop, crane machine, skeeball, etc etc etc  they want to trade haha but I highly doubt it

Thanks!

I'm interested in this, however I am unable to send a PM.  Perhaps I'm too new?  Anyhow send me a PM or an email with how much you want for it.  Thanks

Gooby pls

they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but for some reason those comics grew on me and make me laugh.

Wasn't expecting your  post so I definitely laughed.
