Mad Catz PS2 steering wheel and analog pedals usable in mame?

Someone gave me above mentioned steering wheel and pedals, can they be used in mame with some kind of adapter. Would windows recognize it correctly?

You can buy one of those PS2 to PC USB adapters for a few bucks and it should work.
