contract work: Who here (in the US) does metal work?

I'm wanting to upgrade the CP design on my Plumcade cab, and would like it to be metal (aluminum, I suppose). The controls are a spinner and buttons on left, flight stick on right (just holes, the easy part), and a Star Wars yoke in the center.

flat metal sheet or angled?

would need to know all measurements like over all.

how many holes and in what size's etc.

how thick of metal is important also.

bare metal, oiled, painted, etc.

I got the stuff to do it but you need to be specific and also what are you looking to spend on this with these in mind.

Materials
time/labor
shipping

Have you checked your local sheet metal shops? Are you looking for someone to do the design as well, or do you already have that? I told you I couldn't make the parts, but I can draw it all up in Visio and get you a .dxf for you to take to the sheet metal shop for their CNC. Any bends in your CP, or is it just flat? If you need bends I can provide you with some prints for the brake operators as well.

In case others are wanting more information before chiming in:

I think aluminum might be best, because then I won't have to worry about a finish. Anodized would be even cooler. I'm guessing it'll be five pieces:

- cp box : I want the corners pretty round.

- cp top : I want no edges/corner on this, either, but that could be difficult with the box corners being round.

- cp bottom.

- yoke housing: one piece, that is bent into form.

- yoke mounting plate.

Six holes, total: four buttons, spinner shaft hole, joystick hole.

Except for the bottom, thickness should be enough so that it doesn't flex. I'm thinking the pieces could attach by studs and nuts, via flanges, though I might consider welding of the majority of them. The former would mean it could be shipped mostly flat, though that may not matter.
