Maximus Arcade Question
« on: May 03, 2012, 01:55:33 pm »
I have been trying hyperspin for the last day, but its a pain in the butt what with the game list you have to scroll through to get to a game you own.  I know if i turn on themes only, it shows games with a theme in the folder.

Does MA do this or does it just show a list of games per whats in your rom folder?

It scans your roms dir on demand and only lists your games.

So far I've been using mGalaxy (it does that too, but MAME only frontend) but my next cabinet will probably use multiple emulators and I've found MA quite handy!

Is MA still actively being developed/supported. The forums seem dead, last posts/replies from 2009/2010.

MA is not being actively supported for quite a while.   You can make your own lists of games like Favorites, Vertical, Oldtime, Shooters etc etc.   The main games list is kept intact but you can develop many variations from it.
