Adjusting the layout in MaLa
« on: May 03, 2012, 06:43:13 am »
Can someone explain to me how I adjust the layout on the MaLa frontend, so that I can use different Layouts, with the snaps, game list, etc, in the correct place and correct size. Cheers.

A layout editor program comes with the mala package.  the mala wiki http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Mala_Layout will get you most of the way there.  if you want animations or gif's you'll have to come back here and search for the full details, they weren't covered on the wiki last time i looked.

Cheers for that. BTW, the controller mapping problem was due to a double up, with some functions having the same allocation, and a corrupt MAME32, which has now been replaced. Everything works sweet now.
