This Old Game Vinyl
« on: April 27, 2012, 08:48:12 pm »
I just got a couple feet of the white in the mail today for my first bartop. Anyone have any experience or tips with it in regards to durability, application, etc?

It seems to be pretty thin, but solid.

I am also interested in this vinyl - is it a better alternative to painting for matte finish cabs?

vinyl will give you a more uniform sheen over paint and depending on the cab a more authentic look.
Say if your restoring something like a PaperBoy or other Atri cabs that used alot of Black and white vinyl.
But its not a shortcut to paint.
you still have to prep the surface proably even more so than painting.

also my sideart install tips could also help.
