Oh yeah, should have noticed that.    I looked through the progress of your racing cab and it looks great.

As for your logitech wheel question ....  if the logitech wheel uses two 5K pots then I believe you could just connect the wires from the logitech pots to the gas/brake pedal assembly instead and everything should work. I am no expert, but seems reasonable to me.  This is how I connected the gas/brake pedal assembly to a Microsoft USB Dual Strike controller originally.

ok so how much shipped to 19702 if you (uncleT) rewire it for dual axis :)

EDIT: and can you measure the footprint of it for me?
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

My one remaining Virtua racing gas/pedal assembly is currently wired for single-axis.  Are you sure you want a dual-axis configuration as I thought most games in Mame were for single-axis play only?

If you do want a dual-axis wired configuration then simply snip the wire currently connecting the two POTs together (see photo below) and then connect each set of 3 wires coming from each POT to the associated POT on the logitech controller.

Keeping the assembly wired a single-axis will allow you to test the single-axis functionality out before "you" decide to snip the wire to convert it to dual-axis  ;D

I can get an exact shipping quote for you on Tuesday when I return back to work.  It should be pretty cheap using my company's discounted FedEx shipping rate.   ;)

12-5/8" width x 11-3/8" depth.   The assembly is very nice, sturdy and heavy-duty.  Works great.

Could you get those two VO joys in a large flat rate box?  (I don't have the funds at the moment, but I may soon).

  • Eldritch and proud of it!
I'm very interested in both VO sticks but the forum won't let me send a PM! I'm hoping that I can reply back to one of yours. Those are 8-ways if I remember right? Thanks!

The KE72 is a very good encoder.  It predates the more modern MAME targeted encoders but works just as well.  It also has a lot more screwdown terminals than the more modern controllers.

I have a self contained MAME CP that uses one and it's great.

Would have bought it, but "seller specified this item can't be shipped to France".
Well it's a shame...

If you still have the Hagstrom IOX36, I'll take it.  Tried to PM you, but as a newb, I couldn't.
