My Mame arcade stick
« on: April 19, 2012, 04:20:26 pm »
I modded this arcade stick from an old Xbox arcade stick I had just sitting around, so I decided I should mod it with arcade parts. I will be using 6 buttons not 8. It was a fun project and it was easy to do. I didn't take any pictures of me putting on the artwork, I was 2 or 3 in the morning, so I wasn't in the mood at the time.

parts:
case: Xbox 1 Hori Fighting Stick EX
Joystick: Sanwa JLF
Buttons: Sanwa 30mm and 1 Sanwa 24mm start button
Ball top: Seimitsui "bubbletop"
PCB: ZD Rematch Encoder (Mame or PS3)
Artwork: Custom artwork designed by me, printed from Gameongraphix. I used Photoshop CS3.

Why ruin it with an octagonal gate? fighters should stick with a square gate not a scrubby octo

/SRK board trolling

::) j/k  it looks great and you can tell you put a lot of thought into the details. Nice work

In the pictures it shows the octagonal gate, but I think I put the square gate back on it. Thanks ;D I'm not that picky when it comes to arcade controls, to me its more about the games.
