Building a Taz's Mame Marvel cab
« on: April 16, 2012, 11:04:22 pm »
So I have given up on the idea of converting a golden tee/silver strike cab. So I started building a slim cab like Taz built. I am pretty sure that I will be going black with green t molding. I already have Clear IL Translucent Push buttons with IL-lumination RGB 5VDC LEDs. I also bought the Electric ICE™ RGB Trackball Lighting Upgrade Kit. Two led-wiz and two pac-drives. I modded two Namco Guncon2 light guns with aimtraks. I will also be adding either a PS3 or a Xbox 360 and two mics for karaoke. I would like to have 2 players 7 buttons each. For joysticks I wanted RGB balltops, Brian from Paradise Arcade was talking about making some but I haven't seen them yet. I would also like a spinner and a rotary plus a flight stick if I can get it all to fit. I haven't come up with a theme or a control panel layout yet. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Anything else for the control panel?  Seriously, that is a lot for one cabinet.

I think I will just go for 7 buttons a 4 way and a spinner. How would those rotaries work as my main 8 ways?

Just messing with you, bro. Looking forward to seeing the completed build.
