Hey i'm still kind of a mame newb and need some help i'm trying to get space invaders to run but it says required artwork missing help?

Required artwork? The odds are that whatever ROM distributor you got Space Invaders from should also distribute another *.ZIP file for the artwork, also named after the MAME name of the game. Just go out and search for the archive file of the artwork. That should solve the problem.

mame should not ask for artwork, and if thats the case, go to your mame directory open your mame.ini file if you have one, then edit that to not use artwork. but i have never had a mame problem like this.
