I am pretty sure I am going to order more MAME tokens. I am trying to gauge interest so please vote in the poll to indicate if you are interested.

Pricing will be about $26.99/100 or $46.99/200 - give or take a buck, slightly higher for nickel.

I know a lot of folks weren't around back when we were ordering Nickel a number of years ago, but the mint has a 5000 token minimum for Nickel plating. There will have to be a LOT of interest to actually place a nickel order. Just don't want folks getting their hopes up too high.

Oh yes i am so down. like a drunk guy at a frat party. even if i cant get em to fit my mechs id just love to have em around. got to check my mechs see what they set for. atm i think its quarters. these are the same size as the last batch right?

my mechs has their sticker still saying its set for quarters and .986 yokens depending on the weight.

Saw this thread pop up on my Google News alert for "mame arcade"... had to create an account just to say "IN!" Put me down for a 100/100!

Twice I've found jars of tokens at an antique shop. A coin seller would find them in lots of coins he'd buy and decided to put them aside in case anyone wanted them so I have all these great old tokens (not all arcade) but would love some MAME ones for the collection.

EDIT: As others have said, if only one type is available, brass sounds good to me but I'll go in for 200 of whatever.. 100/100 split preferred. You said there's a 5000 minimum order and it sounds like that's per type (brass or nickel plated) not 5000 total.. so if you did both brass and nickel, it would have to be 10,000 total ordered? Either way, happy to do 200 to help reach the minimum of whichever you end up ordering.

Roughly how "slightly higher" is "slightly higher for nickel"? I think I answered "I might buy 200 nickel" or 100 nickel but if the price is still ballpark $50 I'll go ahead and say I'm definitely in for 200 nickel.

over 500 views and not even 50 votes. stop being slackers people you know you want these. ATM I am using the coin mech to turn on my cab. Later I'm gonna make it so the coin slots work as intended and add credits. Right not only the left coin slot is wired up to turn the pc on and off. my eco power strip wont shut power down to the other things plugged in need to find a diff one.

a question out of place ... i have a coin mec that accepts quaters... if i get this coins il be able to use it on my coin mec
or i need to buy a token one...

i dont want to buy a coin mec for tokens but having BYOAC tokens are a must for ME cab...

you might get lucky and your mechs are set for quarters and .984 tokens least i think its .984 you'd have to check his last token run to see the size

I would be in for 100 brass. Do you have any plans for a rerun of the BYOAC year specific ones? I currently have 2004, 2006, 2007. I would love to complete my collection. Which years were tokens made?

Depending on how crazy I feel with my money once you order these I might actually pick up 200 nickel AND 200 brass... which is double-crazy since my current cab doesn't even have a coin door...

I don't know what the minimums are or how much of a cut they take, but have you thought about putting up a Kickstarter project or something so those of us who are definitely "in" can lock in our funding for whenever the time rolls around?

There are alternatives to Kickstarter, of course.. some that may be more friendly to something like this. But nobody said a Kickstarter project had to be something $100k or more like a lot of the famous high profile projects.

I am just gonna place an order - probably this week. I will order some Brass MAME and Brass 2010.

Nickel is still up in the air, I am hoping the Mint will be flexible and reduce the minimum for me.

Sad to hear about the nickel but I will probably pick up a couple hundred in brass of maybe two of the designs you ordered.

Keep that nickel in the back of your mind, man... if you reconsider later I'd still be interested...
