WTB: Sega Naomi bits (NE)
« on: March 26, 2012, 04:59:02 pm »
Hey all,
I recently came into possession of a sega Naomi motherboard.
thing is, I lack any other parts.
I'm just looking to hook it up to a VGA monitor for now, pretty much as a supergun.
Not quite sure, but I think what I need is a power supply, an I/O board, a game, and a jamma harness for controls.

can anyone help me out?

Well for starters start with the manual here ==>  http://sega-naomi.com/resources/manuals/naomi_universal.pdf
And this ==> http://segaretro.org/Sega_NAOMI should explain it a little
You'll probably want a  220V ATX power Supply and vga wise it should just plug right in to a vga monitor

okay, so my understanding is that I need a power supply, an I/O board, a jamma harness, and depending on the I/O board, an amp and transformer.
is that correct?
