Help with AMI R90 Error code
« on: March 14, 2012, 04:45:31 pm »
 Hi to all..
and any help would be apreciated with error codes on ami R90.

juke was working fine..have not started it up for maybe 2 months and then :
I have error code E12 which the manual tells me coins deflected or banged machine.
i do have the manuals but they dont tell you how to get rid of this error other than no refund will be given..

another problem is when put into serv mode a error comes up E4..but that goes out after a cpl of seconds..
the manual says E4 is: battery voltage low and replace computer..i know the battery is sorta soldered on there but surely a simple way to replace other than the whole ccc..

and yet another prob is when i try to access the programing through the correct procedure i cant get me there.. other than someone has changed the access codes at some time.
or maybe this is due to battery low..defective..dont know.

i have another which i kept for spares but that dont work since i git it.. so i dont know what parts are good in it

thanks in advance for any info.

Hi I am no jukebox expert, but it sounds like you have to replace the computer board. If you are located in the states Bruce Wentworth is your man,Tel.603-382-6272.

I have a R-87 with a battery soldered on it and it went bad.If you send Bruce your board and $150.00,he will send back an updated board with no battery on it.I hope this helps.
