Has anybody here actually tried the PC Bio Gun?
« on: September 26, 2003, 05:26:03 pm »
Hi ya'll. Long time no post. Anyways, has anybody here tried using the PC Bio Gun with MAME as an alternative to the the Act Labs gun?

I think they look alot cooler, but I don't know if they're fully compatible, and I don't know how well they perform if they are compatible.

Can someone please post back with some info on the matter? I'll be checking regularly. It's time for my next wave of upgrades. Thanks, ya'll.

Yup, I'm planning on getting a PC BIO Gun for a review. I haven't placed my order yet (been busy with a few other reviews), but soon.

The gun(s) are now ordered.*

*I actually got both the PC Bio Gun and the PC Virtual Gun:

PC Bio Gun: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=0&products_id=1439&

PC Virtual Gun: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=0&products_id=1429&

The Lik-Sang site mentions shipping can take up to two weeks, so just watch the news page on my site -- I'll post when I get the guns.

Hopefully your review is up before Act-Labs gets their "act" together on the TV-Out guns so I can cancel my order if one of these guns rules.

Wait...these guns probably don't work on a TV, eh?  That sucks.

Schmokes,

Nope, neither of the Lik-Sang lightguns work with a TV, so I guess you're stuck with waiting for the ACT-Labs one.

Nothing worse than having to wait for a new toy... :(

The ACT-Labs TV gun has been oft-delayed, and I'm not sure what the current "official" release date is.

It will be the same "raygun" style as the current gun, however.
