From your reply - I know "MAME4Droid Reloaded" will only show ROMS that I have. Was the same feature added to "MAME4Droid" (based on the 37b5 core)...
I don't believe Mame4Droid has been updated since he released the "Reloaded" version so, in essence, no I don't think so. Quick scrolling (pressing right/left as opposed to up/down) was pretty easy/fast to get through the full list.
I have NO idea about performance on the Galaxy Player, I can't seem to find processor info on it. But I can say, as with desktop MAME, CPU speed is the determining factor. Reloaded is intended for 1ghz procs or better, if I remember correctly...
...Still - does anyone know of a frontend for it? I'm used to EmuLoader or Mame32, and would prefer something similar (gamelist with screenshots) - although I could do without it if I don't have to pick out the 30 games I loaded from the 2000 available...
Good luck with finding a frontend like the ones we're used to here. This one guy seems to be the entire MAME scene on Android.

My personal opinion? Playing classics on a touchscreen SUCKS. Get something that runs Android 3.2 or better, and has a USB port for a controller at least.
