Judging interest: Anodized joystick shafts
« on: March 05, 2012, 01:11:30 am »
So posting this thread to see if there is interest in this product.  Anodized replacement joystick shafts, many colors to choose from.  Two options for material, either aluminum or titanium.  Aluminum has a limited # of colors, and of course there's always the question of durability.  Titanium is obviously the better product, which also has a much wider range of colors to choose from.  Cost is also quite a bit higher.

I don't have color samples yet, though I will be hoping to get some this week.  I also don't have an idea on cost yet, though working that out as well.

With all that said, is there an interest in such a thing?  If you're interested, what would you want to see in your product?  Hollow tube for LED/wiring?  Longer/shorter than normal?  Just let me know here or in PM.  If I can get enough interest, I can pull the trigger and get things rolling quickly.  If different joysticks have different shafts, then I may need a sample shaft of the joystick so that we can make a master of it.  Anyone providing us with a shaft to make a master of one we don't have will get a discount on their order.  Thanks for any and all feedback!

If I understand what you're saying, Randy T already sells them:

At least judging from posts on this site you don't see a whole lot of them on cabs.
