ROWE AMI CD 100-F Light Issues
« on: March 03, 2012, 02:32:41 am »
I'm in the process of restoring a ROWE AMI CD 100-F.  I have all the major components working, but I'm having some issues replacing lights.  The top door assembly has two end caps that light up and a motor that rotates three CD's in the middle.  My question is what is the easiest way to go about removing those plastic end caps without breaking them?  And is there any easy way to replace the motor that rotates the CD's?  The screws that hold the entire assembly are in a spot that impossible to reach with a screw driver.  There's no obvious way to go about it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

the bulbs for the ends come out from the inside...it's a gray push an turn kind of thing. just turn em counter clockwise about a 1/4 turn and they will pop out.

as for the animation display.... there is a couple of 1/4 inch screws that hold the whole assy. just remove them and the whole part (cd's and lights and mirrors and all) comes out.
