Alright, had a go with it on the driving cab which runs XP64.
I think people's results are going to vary greatly depending on whether they have directx 11 or not. (xp isn't capable of it)
Limited to the legacy plugin, the driving games either showed no improvement or had regressed.
I already had the Demul .5.7 that was leaked a year ago and that version actually runs the Atomiswave driving games better, although Maximum Speed crashes occasionally. With this official release, the track disappears.

Fiddling with the video settings didn't seem to make any difference, although they did run faster with fog disabled.
On my Vista PC, which is fairly weak but has directx 11, Initial D looked good, like the graphics glitches had been fixed. (but it ran slow and the sound skips)
On the XP PC, the graphics glitches looked the same as they did before, although the controls were fixed and if I disabled the fog it plays at full speed.
It's driving me nuts that my Win7 i7 laptop is dead. It has directx 11 and enough horsepower to tell what the emulator can really do.

A few pointers for the driving games while I'm on here......
Pedals must be set to combined! (this has always been the case, but I didn't figure it out until now.

For the games that look for the card reader when they boot up,
enter the service menu>game assignments> then there should be an option in there to disable the card reader.
It works for initial d and club kart, but I haven't been able to figure out F355 yet.
