J-Pac, Arcade VGA, controls questions
« on: February 08, 2012, 08:25:22 pm »
Hey everyone.....I just hooked up my computer to my arcade monitor and everything seems to work for the most part but have a few snags.

First problem is my original control panel is from a soul calibur 2 working machine.  However in my windows, gameex, mameui64 the UP joy stick command won't work.  All other directions will and the UP for sure worked in SC2 so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.  In the mame assign controls, it won't recognize the up command.  It wont assign anything, just stays blank.  I can change it to any other direction or button.

Next issue is my arcade VGA.  When I first installed it, upon the first startup it asked me what mode I wanted it in and I chose the one that wasnt arcade monitor since I had it hooked up to my LCD screen..  It told me I can change it at any time by going some where but I forgot where I change it at.  Its showing right now on the monitor so maybe I don't need to change anything.

last issue is on startup of the computer......the post screen and loading screen seems out of frequency.  Can't read any of the info.  The first time I booted  on the arcade monitor everything looked fine.  Just not anymore.  I have the j-pac hooked up to the original wire harness, ps2 to USB cord to the comp and VGA cable to the arcadevga.the

Any answers to my problems would be much appreciated.  Thanks for the help!
