Looking to buy bartop arcade with mame installed. Trying to stay under $700. Let me know what you got with pics if possible.

Pretty sure that's against the MAME license.

You can ask for a bartop with PC installed, but you would need to install MAME on your own.

Well didn't really know how to state it I just need a finished project for my game room, no time to build it myself and a noob at when it comes to building pc stuff. Thats why I stay with modded xboxes. The controller you did for me is working great BTW. Here is my finished project with your controller installed.

you can always edit your ad, ask for someone to sell you a barto cabinet with computer installed ready to go, but staying under 700 would be hard, as it wont be any profit for the seller, think about it:
wood and woodwork around 50
pait or artwork plus tmolding around 50
glass around 50
controls and butons around 75
jpac or keyboard hack around 50
low profile computer around 200
lcd monitor arounf 100
coin mech or lock around 50
Thats for a total of 625, plus shipping plus any extras, that makes it around 700. i know it can be more cheaper insome things its just an estimated.
And if you get someone to sell you a cab , you can always ask for some extra stuff by pm  ;)

wood and woodwork around 50                          50
pait or artwork plus tmolding around 50 No art    25
glass around 50                                    Plexi      10
controls and butons around 75                            40
jpac or keyboard hack around 50    game pad      25
low profile computer around 200                        150
lcd monitor arounf 100                          Used       40
coin mech or lock around 50                  None        0
Thats for a total of 625                                       340

But you really have to watch your pennies.

Disk drive price has been inflating the computer cost.

Add 300 labour and you will not get one for less than $700 plus shipping.

btw, I built one for a friend for about 60 bucks...  But I had the monitor and the computer.

I went on craigslist and found someone selling a bunch.  Asked if he had a dead one one.  50 bucks later and I had one in great shape.  For 100 bucks I easily could have had one with a working monitor and power supply.

Many brands have just a pc in them... so you can just put the motherboard in where they had one (ATX size I believe, but all in one... no cards).  And a place for a power supply.  Then you would have to just find a place for the keyboard encoder...

The trick is to find one with a standard serial touch screen interface...

I think you might be able to get one for 700 if the seller is not looking for too much profit and has easy access to used parts.  The shipping will be the make or break factor.
