Yeah, I set a homepage tab to "unread posts since last visit," and then lost all my free time to reading the forum.  ;D

despite the fact the news feed is dead, it should still be updated at least one last time says something like "the news is no longer updated, please check out the forums" with a link to the forums of course

ever thought about replacing the main page with a portal that is integrated into the forums? I've done it with a few forums i run in the past. works great.
