Killer Instinct 2 Buttons
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:01:53 am »
Is there a trick to getting some of the buttons unscrewed from the control panel?  A couple won't budge and others freely spin, making it impossible for me to take off.  Is there a trick that I am missing that makes all this easy??

Use a button wrench?

a button wrench will solve the free spinning problem???  when i say free spinning i mean that the nut is stuck on the button without budging, but the entire button rotates making it impossible to get a good counter force in order to release the nut.  i am thinking i can just break the nuts on the ones that spin and get them off that way

that sounds really dirty...

if you can grip the the nut form the bottom, try pushing down on the button while twisting the nut. Alternatively you can try to grip the nut and twist where the microswitch is.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
