Golden Tee '99 Playing blind WG U2000 chassis
« on: January 17, 2012, 08:53:41 pm »
I have a Golden Tee '99 w/ a WG U2000 chassis that is playing blind.  I have troubleshooted to a point but now I'm stuck.

- On start-up, there is no sound from the tube, chassis, flyback whatsoever. No static noise (tube warming up), no neck glow.
- No visible cracks or oozing from flyback (just dust on it and surrounding components) no hissing or clicking and no arc/snap discharge to ground from  flyback anode
- I've tested most caps, in-circuit (w/ cap analyzer 88), and tested okay.
- I tested power supply side of board by isolating it and testing w/ 75 w light bulb, it stayed lit. Pointing to the deflection side of board?
- Fuse-good.
- B+ voltage @ test point 202 was around 170 vdc-180 (I tested w/ chassis in machine everything still hooked up).
- H.O.T. Q704 - The collector to ground measured 183 vdc. I removed HOT ,and diode tested-  good.

Where to go from here? The CRT? flyback? ??? My knowledge of electronics is little more than hobby.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  It's been down for over a year, I'm just dying to get the machine back up and running.
