xin-mo Problems.
« on: January 13, 2012, 06:47:02 pm »
I just received my 1 player xin-mo usb arcade adapter today. My computer detects it fine, but the only thing detected is the left movement. Does anyone know of a way to fix this, or do I need to set it up with some third party software?   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

BobA

Should be detected without any setup.   Check its function under properties.  You can test the joystick and all the buttons there.  Are you trying to use it with an emulator?  Mame should already be set up but each emulator requires setup as a gamepad.  If you have changed the setup in Mame you may have to add the gamepad keys again.

I have the 2 player version of this and I remember the one thing I did wrong about 3 times was putting the plugs on the wrong pins so double check to make sure all your plugs match the supplied diagram. If they that isnt the problem then it might be worth trying it in another USB port to see if that makes any difference.

Check the grounding wire. If you plug it in different order, and different function works, then the wire may be broken.
