Couple of questions
« on: January 10, 2012, 11:53:42 am »
Hey.  I am looking to add a small panel with a couple of USB ports and maybe a headphone jack to the front of my cabinet.  I have seen these on many of your builds.  Any idea where I can get something like this?  I know many of them are fabricated but there must at least be some sort of USB pass through panel available out on the interwebs.  Also, I see that many of you have a little socket ont he back of your machines for the power cord rather than just the power strip cable hanging out the back.  What is this called and where can I get one?  Thanks in advance for the help!

Check out monoprice.com  When it comes to cables they are the best.

From when I asked the same question on a recent project:

Cheaper here: http://www.amazon.com/IEC320-Inlet-Module-Switch-Socket/dp/B0050HH70E

It is also fuse protected, buy you will have to supply your own which you can pick up for $.99

I got that one and it worked great!
