Bad seller - Basement Arcade Grafx
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:24:55 pm »
If you are thinking of paying Eric and John at Basement Arcade Grafx to do work for you, think again. I paid Eric to work on a pinball translite in July. John had some kind of accident so I waited until September for him to print my translite. The translite was printed with the score windows in the wrong location and opaque not transparent so you could not see the reels even if they were in the correct location. Eric has been jerking me around since September saying he will fix the position of the reels. He said last month he had back surgery but would have someone else fix it asap. Since then both Eric and John have ignored my emails and PM's. If you have money to spend on artwork, I suggest you spend it elsewhere as these guys do not have good business practices.

That sounds bad man, but your experience is nothing like mine. I got my art printed off a few months back and John was great. It was cheap, looked good and didn't take a long time to arrive in England at all. I was gonna take some pics and show everybody but I was really busy. Hmm... I don't know what to else to say.

 :o Actually, wooo! 100th post!

Sorry to hear that as well.  My experience with Basement Arcade Grafx has been great -- I've used them twice and had great results for an excellent price.  And when there was a printing quality problem on one of mine, John quickly reprinted and sent another copy at no cost.  In your case it sounds like it's a problem with the graphics -- I wonder if John can do the fixes in that file since Eric seems to be unavailable. :\
