Mala bg music and game music settings
« on: December 26, 2011, 01:19:31 am »
Hi
For whatever reason mala is not saving settings made to background music. It keeps muting it.
I've made changes in sounds and music section aswell as ticking enable gui sounds and have tried this with current layouts.
It either current play any background music in mala or mutes game play music.
Thanks in advance.

I have to assume this is related to the bug which doesn't turn the volume back up after a fade.

If you have fade options on your bg music, I suggest removing the fade to see if that fixes your problem.

I'm pretty sure loadman is aware of this, maybe it will be fixed with new release.

This has been driving me crazy.

Mala kept stopping audio on whole computer and tracked it down to this bug. When you hit STOP on an mp3, the fade turns down the wav slider in windows mixer, and obviously this means no more sound for you.

I realised it was probably using the wav slider for the fadeout, so I disabled the fade in/out. But now it just sets it to zero when you hit PLAY on the mp3 instead  :'(

So the jukebox isn't usable. Really sucks, spent last few weeks setting everything up and making my own layout gfx etc, and now it looks like going to have to switch to a different front-end and start again.
