Last month I suggested to Bits Ltd that they offer the Smartstrip with a black cord. They said they'd check into it.

I just received another e-mail from them and I thought I'd share:

Butch,
We will be offering a black power cord on all of our Power Strips for an
additional $5 to cover the additional costs. The option will be on our web
site before the end of September. Also if there is any other special needs,
our company offers custom solutions at a minimal price. Thank you for
interest in our Smart Strip Power Strip.
