NOOB J-Pac Install Questions
« on: December 18, 2011, 10:56:07 am »
I just got my J-Pac and I am starting to prepare for the installation. I might go ArcadeVGA in the future, but for now I don't have the money to go in that direction.

I have Soft 15 downloaded and I'm going to install it today and hook up the J-Pac, I wasn't sure what I should set for my screen resolution though.

I also read that Soft15 won't come on until Windows loads, I am assuming that if my J-Pac is set to 15khz only this won't be a problem and will only let the signal come through once it's loaded.

I just want to cover my bases before I fry my board.

I'll be back later as I will probably have questions related to if I should cut my Capcom SF kick harness or if I should re-wire for the additional buttons.

Many thanks! -Mike
