HEADS UP! Don't update PHAT XBox 360 consoles you're planning on RGHing!

If anyone has a PHAT XBox 360 console they are planning on installing the Reset Glitch Hack on - DO NOT UPDATE IT PAST DASH VERSION 13604!

The new beta dashboards have been updating every PHAT console's firmware to a CB version that makes the RGH useless on dash versions above 13604! There's absolutely no reason to believe the new dash releasing tomorrow won't do the same thing. Until a workaround is discovered, any PHAT consoles updated with the new dash released on Dec, 6 2011, will be blocked from the RGH.

This doesn't affect SLIM consoles as the RGH exploits them in a slightly different way.

Obviously if you have a Xenon console, this doesn't apply as updated ones are non-exploitable.

why hax? because I like playing ALL my old school games on the xbox on a huge 60" plasma tv thats why. with scanlines that makes it JUST like the old school arcade monitors. also working some freestyle dashboard themes. I will make some badass street fighter and mgs themes since xbox 360 homebrew is more popular now.

plus I gets moneyz. and people appropriate the effort. I get like 9 thankyouS every time I mod a system for someone lol DOO EET

There aren't any scanlines on arcade monitors!  Scanlines are a crude, late 90's attempt to get high resolution displays to present a bettter low res image.  They fail miserably.  A dot-pitch filter and a damned good one is the only way to fake a arcade monitor!

Whatever they did for Final Fight on XBOX live was perfect, fake phosphor glow and everything.

Finally got voice control over here in nz. So that was a pretty cool gimmick for 30 seconds. I kinda like it tbh though.

Sounds like real paranoia.

For something supposed to be legal it sure sounds like it is not.

RGH can be used to run homebrew but it can also be used to run bootlegs. Much like MAME can emulate games you own.....and dont own.
