PS3 and PC cabinet help
« on: December 02, 2011, 03:27:58 pm »
So I want to interface my control panel with both a PC and a PS3 and I am having a hard time figuring it out. I have ordered a CP from North Coast Customs and I am working with them to get it done. But I wanted to post here as well as they have not done much of this, but are willing to give it a go.

Keep in mind I purchased the Quad control panel with the lighting upgrade which already uses a USB iPac. So my goal is to be able to use that with the spinner and trackball and program it with ledblinky and all that and be able to flip a switch(KVM) and use it as a ps3 controller. I would just need to change the source of my LCD.

I think my options are using the ps3 adapter from ultimarc or the Cthulhu adapter http://www.shadaloo.eu/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_ritz&product_id=36&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14

I can then just use a KVM switch to switch between the 2. Has anyone does this? Anything I am missing?

Thanks

A little more reading on the ultimarc page goes a long way.

I am good now.

Thanks

There is always X Arcade.  I managed to get both the PS3, Xbox1 and  Xbox 360 and PC playing happy together off one interface.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.
