Mala + NullDC....(almost there)
« on: December 01, 2011, 11:19:07 pm »
Hey there everyone.....I am working on my first front end install.  I have Mala pointing to Mameui64 no problem with games working but am also trying to add the NullDC emulator.  I see the names of my games no problem in the list but then when I go to launch it, the NullDC full screen pops up ok but another little box asking for the path to choose my .cdi file.  I can press the little browse button and load it manually but obviously that isn't a preferred method.

I am sure it is just an simple little setting but I would appreciate the help.

Thanks for the help!!

There are a few settings in the NullDC cfg file that need changed.
This is just from memory, so it's not very complete info, but.....

One sets the default gdi to whatever game selected in MALA
The other makes Demul automatically load the default gdi when started.
(after enabling this, Demul will not work when launched by itself, but will when launched through MALA)

I seem to remember default being spelled wrong in the cfg file and you're supposed to leave it that way.

There are step by step instructions on here somewhere.
You just need to search.
