GroovyMAME implemented into MESS?
« on: November 27, 2011, 05:28:50 am »
I really like the idea of one emulator emulating a large proportion of system, so Calamity would it be possible to have a version of MESS with Groovymame settings/hacks implemented??

Yes that's highly interesting, I'd need to know how much of the code is shared between both projects to see how much work would be involved.

However what I have in mind for the moment I get some time is to improve actual GroovyMAME engine, there are many issues here and there that I have found during the last months that require rewritting some bits of the code, as well as the nVidia support via Powerstrip that's one of my priorities.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
