happ perfect 360 question
« on: September 17, 2003, 02:02:23 am »
I did not know where to post this.  Hopefully this is the right spot.

I need help on installing the Happ 360 perfect.  I am doing this for the Dreamcast and is using the Madcatz dreampad.  I got the Happ to work for going to the right, but can not get it for up, down, or left.  Can anyone give me any help to fix this.  I have found the power supply for the Happ.

Thanks

umm...I am little confused.

only left works ?
You are using external powersupply ?
why ?
You can find +5 on the pad.

I wired 2 p360s with the official dc pad and interact programable pad.
The blue wire is +5 on both.no idea about the madcatz pad but try the blue wire.

Also when you install the joystick hub,the terminals of the stick should be next to buttons(not the other way around).

or course if you already installed the thing wrong then just switch the wires.

It only goes to the right.
I do not have an external power supply.  It is internal, from the pad itself.
Yes the joystick hub is next to the buttons.

Then you probley got a defective one.simple.
Exchange it.
or try cleaning the hub/around the optical sensor)

Okay, but the thing is that if i switch the wires and put the left, up, or down wires into the right slot, it works.  For example if I put the left in and when I press left it works, by going to the right.  Also the game pad works if i complete the connections it goes up, left, or down, by pressing the d-pad.
